We leaned into a Modern Contemporary vibe, focusing on three things: light, lines, and layers.
The Wave Feature: The dining area isn’t just a place to eat; it’s a focal point. We designed a custom, backlit wave feature wall that breaks the “boxy” feel of standard HDB flats.
The Transition: Notice the floor? We used hexagonal tiles to create a seamless, organic “bleed” from the entryway into the living space—a subtle way to define zones without using walls.
The Dry Bar: We integrated a sleek pantry/dry bar next to the piano, featuring tinted glass and warm LEDs. It’s the perfect bridge between the kitchen and the social areas.
Smart Study: For the workstation, we went darker. It’s a moody, high-productivity corner that maximizes vertical space with overhead storage.
